Before clearing away trees and altering the pristine landscape, we wanted to pay our respect to Mother Nature herself and somehow bless this plot of earth as we become its new custodians. All the animals who've taken up residence here before us, the different plants and trees, the rocks and boulder formations, all deserve honor and protection. They were here first. We are the new arrivals.
Naturally, we want to protect our land from pestilential evils and ward off any negative and toxic energy. Who wouldn't? Quartz crystals are the literal the crystallization of the energetic quality of clarity.
We have a surplus of these clear quartz crystals. While Steve was running on the path along the Lehigh River after it rained, he discovered this sparkly hill. It was covered in these clear as glass crystals. I don't quite get the geologic phenomena that had to occur for the earth to spew out all the crystals there. We go back often to dig and hunt for more perfect crystals. Talk about a grounding experience!
We took a box full of gems, smudged them together with a palo santo stick, and asked for blessings of protection for our land.
Then we walked around the perimeter carefully placing a large crystal at all five corners of our land directly on the boundary pin, and placed a crystal at the highest point and lowest point of our land, like a vibrational security grid.
I sprinkled smaller crystals along the perimeter, and placed some strategically in beautiful power spots. Like this one - where a tree is growing from a rock.
Our land is now completely encircled in activated crystal power.
May this land be filled with blessings and may all who walk upon our land receive its blessings in return.
