We needed a Christmas tree. We had just moved into a teeny tiny city apartment right before the holidays of 2019. Christmas tree vendors lined the busy sidewalks on Broadway. What we needed was something we could carry up 4 flights of stairs that fits down the narrow hallway into our tiny apartment. This is what we came home with.

Here's a true Christmas story of a small tree with big dreams
This tree planting is actually our very first installation on our land that is #sustainable, #Earthfriendly, and #solarpowered! The same little live Christmas tree we bought in the city returned back to Mother Earth adorned with a string of solar-powered tree lights. Interestingly enough, the string of tiny lights that we wrapped around it somehow prevented the young tree-ling from becoming deer food. Who knew?!
We hope that one day we can have our own retired Christmas tree forest in the backyard.
