This reminds me of Fallingwater

Are you familiar with Fallingwater? The famous house designed by the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright? It was a modern structure built in 1935. The most amazing thing about it is how the home is perched on a cliff above the homeowner's sweetest summer swimming spot.

We had the pleasure of walking through Fallingwater a couple of years ago, and I wrote a post about it here.


Check this out: In the #houseswelove column of Dwell magazine, I stumbled upon this article a see-through house that magically hangs above a creek bed. Behold, the Suspension House in California.

I'm obsessed with that intersection where modern architecture meets nature. The floating balcony totally reminds me of Fallingwater's stream accessible deck. If FLW was around today, I think he would love this.
